Rogue Elephant Announces First Production

Rogue Elephant Productions is pleased to announce its premiere production, INTO THE WOODS, to be presented at Clary Gardens under licensing agreement with Music Theatre International (MTI).

Based on the book by James Lapine, with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, Into the Woods weaves together the well known tales of Cinderella, Jack and the Beanstalk, Little Red Riding Hood, and Rapunzel through the perspective of a childless baker and his wife as they search for the cure to a witch’s curse and start a family.

The cast will feature many local veterans of the stage including Ellen Hardesty, Heath Chaney, Amanda Kittel, Graham Beaumont, and many others. The show is being directed by Mark Kittel and produced by Susan Metz Guthrie, with musical direction by Amy Jo Burton Vargo and choreography by Jennifer Nelson.

The show will be presented at the outdoor ampitheater at Clary Gardens, August 6-8 and 12-14, 2021. Social distancing measures will be in place for this outdoor production; additional safety measures, including mask-wearing protocols, will be announced as the state of Ohio makes progress in its COVID regulations and requirements.

Ticket prices and availability will be announced soon - check back in April for more information!
