Rogue Elephant Productions was co-founded by Michelle Kittel and Mark Kittel with the mission of expanding both the availability and accessibility of theatrical productions in Coshocton County. With theaters largely closed for over a year during the COVID pandemic, we decided to bring theater back to Coshocton with a performance of “Into The Woods” at Clary Gardens, where we could perform outdoors safely and to as large an audience as possible. Soon after we chose to add a youth production of “I Wish” at Clary as well to give our county’s young talent a chance to get back to performing on stage!
We also chose to make the bulk of the seating at the Clary Gardens amphitheater free to the public. In forming our company we committed right away to ensuring that money would not be a barrier to enjoying theater in our community. Through our many collective years of experience in working with numerous theater companies in both New York and Ohio, we have seen time and again how transformative live theater can be to people across all walks of life.
Our future plans include more summer performances at Clary Gardens, youth education programs, special member events, and more! We encourage you to join us as a member and help direct the future of Rogue Elephant Productions.
